How the Program Works

At JTBYA, we honor all learning styles — and our curriculum reflects that. Throughout the program, you’ll engage with concepts through visual, interactive, auditory, and kinesthetic tools, ensuring the material is both accessible and memorable, no matter how you learn best.

The course is delivered through a blend of in-person and remote sessions:
In-person weekends at JTB Studios offer hands-on experience, group learning, and direct mentorship
Self-paced e-learning modules give you the flexibility to dive deeper on your own schedule

You’ll be supported in every phase of your journey — with a structure designed to keep you engaged while also honoring your life outside of training.

While many students enroll with the intention of becoming a certified yoga instructor, you don’t need to want to teach to take part in JTBYA. This training is equally powerful for students who want to:

What’s Included

200-hour Yoga Alliance certified training program
20 in-studio classes throughout the program
All course materials and online resources, excluding textbooks
Hands-on mentorship and personalized feedback
Practice teaching and workshop development

Payment plans and limited partial scholarships are available.

By the time you graduate from JTB Yoga Academy, you will:

✨ Have a strong, practical understanding of asana (yoga poses) — how to practice, teach, and modify them safely and skillfully
✨ Feel confident crafting and leading Hatha or Vinyasa classes using your own unique, creative voice
✨ Know how to adapt yoga — breathwork, movement, and meditation — to meet a wide range of bodies, needs, and abilities
✨ Be skilled in the use of props like blocks, straps, wheels, towels, bolsters, and blankets to support and enhance your classes
✨ Understand yoga philosophy in a real-world way — and know how to apply it to your everyday life for more ease and clarity
✨ Be grounded in anatomy and physiology — muscles, bones, nerves, and how the body moves as a whole
✨ Be able to breathe deeply and efficiently, and explore a range of pranayama techniques to support yourself and your future students
✨ Have explored the subtle body — the energetic systems that make you you
✨ Be able to understand and teach the chakra system in a grounded and accessible way
✨ Know the heart of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali — and how these ancient teachings still speak to modern life
✨ Have experienced and explored various styles of meditation, and have ready-to-use meditation scripts to guide others
✨ Be eligible to apply for your RYT-200 designation through Yoga Alliance
✨ Have formed deep, meaningful connections with your fellow trainees — rooted in shared growth, challenge, and transformation

Program Structure & Flow

The JTBYA schedule is crafted with intention. You’ll stay engaged and immersed throughout, with concepts introduced in a thoughtful sequence that builds on itself, allowing you to absorb, integrate, and embody the teachings fully and efficiently.


Tuition & Payment Options

Full Investment: $3,600
This includes all training weekends, online course materials, and mentorship.

Early Bird Pricing now through June 30 when paying in full: $2,600


Flexible Payment Plan

We believe this journey should be accessible, so we offer a simple, no-interest plan:

Deposit: $900 (due upon acceptance)

Monthly Payments: 3 payments of $900

Final balance must be paid in full by January 10, 2027.

Please note that if your heart is calling to this training and you’d like to discuss a modified payment plan agreement, we are more than willing to work with you.


Partial scholarships may be available on a case-by-case basis.
If cost is a concern, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to talk options! We are not able to offer full scholarships for the program at this time.

Enjoy a 10 minute Multidimensional Being Meditation with Jess. This meditation is one of many that are included in our curriculum. By the end of this course, you will be able to comfortably lead a group in this meditation.
